The AI Tool Trust Index ranks 37 widely recommended AI tools by how much you can believe what their vendors tell you — not by how good they are. As of 2026-07-28, the average Trust Score is 6.6/10: 9 tools rate high-trust (8+), 21 moderate (6–7), and 7 sit in the caution zone (below 6).
This table is generated directly from our verification database and updates whenever a tool is re-verified. Scores measure five dimensions — GitHub metric authenticity, pricing transparency, review authenticity, company track record, and marketing accuracy — detailed in the Trust Score methodology.

How to read the bands
- 🟢 High trust (8–10): published pricing, verifiable claims, marketing that matches documented capability. Currently: ElevenLabs, Grammarly, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Runway, Cursor, Suno AI, Descript, Planner 5D.
- 🟡 Moderate trust (6–7): legitimate products with at least one transparency gap — hidden limits, cherry-picked benchmarks, or unverifiable claims.
- 🔴 Caution zone (1–5): not "scam" — it means we could not verify enough of what the vendor claims. Currently: DALL-E 3, Surfer SEO, Notion AI, Replit Agent, Final Round AI, RoomGPT, HomeDesigns AI.
